Preparations are underway for this years festival. We’re having a year off at the Top and Tail gallery to give us a chance to do other things. This year I will be basking in the opportunity to have a good look round all the other galleries for a change! And I will be doing a stall at Fete for the Wicked, on the Sunday. I will have my usual array of illustrated jewellery, with a few new designs and other nick knacks so come along and say hi! The festival is not one to be missed, I assure you!
Sunday 1st August 12-6pm
Artist-run Stalls, Mobile Galleries, Projections, Psychic Portraits, Quack Doctors, Performance, Vintage Fashion, Photographic Tombola, Large Interactive Puppet Show, Illustrated Jewellery, a Lucky Dip in a Skip, Decima Dogs, Olympic Dust, Burning of the Wicker Man and much more.
Info about the fete HERE.
Info about the festival in general HERE. (The site doesn’t really do it justice unfortunately, you really just have to come and see what’s going down!).
Here’s a few pics from Saturday’s event….
Collaborative “Exquisite Corpse” ceramics range. I did the illustrations and Tana West of Glazed and Confused did the ceramics.
We were displaying the prototypes that day so people could pre order them, we had an overwhelming response!

Come along to York hall in Bethnal Green, London this Saturday the 8th July (12-7) for one of London’s biggest sales of hand made/vintage/fabulous items. Perfect for prezzie shopping, and you can have tea or a spot of swing dancing while you’re at it (not literally at the same time of course).
I have lots of new items in my illustrated jewellery range, and there will also be a collaborative ceramics collection with the brilliant Glazed and Confused….
Exquisite corpse stackable teacups! Nautical/circus/anatomy sets.
New designs underway…

I’m having a few of my illustrations shown in group exhibition next week in Cape Town! An amazing line up of artists, and there will be plenty of prints, customised trainers and clothes etc available. Wish I could go!
The show is at Wessel Snyman Gallery, Cape Town, South Africa.
16th of April.
Thanks to Trevor Paul for organising the show!
I recently did the illustration for a poster advertising an exciting new designer’s market, at the awesome Stour Space, Hackney Wick.
It’s a monthly event, on the last Saturday of each month. Facebook group can be found here.
At the moment I’m working on some new designs for my accessory collection, including a ‘Dark was the Night’ silhouette collection. I did a stall at the Hackney Wick flea market to test them out, but will be approaching shops soon. You can buy some of my original collection from the ICA, London.

Earlier this month me and some pals curated a show at the Top and Tail Gallery, as part of the Hackney Wicked arts festival. Please see the Top and Tail blog.
Here some pics of my piece, where I applied my colorful repeat printing technique to a 3d format. The piece explores how alcohol may of affected a lovers’ relationship in Victorian London.
